The Studio Coordinator is responsible for coordinating both the interior and exterior finish selections on all custom build, spec home, and remodel projects, doing so in a timely manner. The Studio Coordinator will schedule and meet one on one with each of our clients to help guide them through each of the selection process while documenting and entering those decisions into our management system all in an effort to keep each project running according to schedule. In addition, the Studio Coordinator is responsible for continually staying aware of the ever-changing home styles and trends aiding in keeping the Studio current and diverse as determined necessary.
Role Responsibilities
- Establish expectations and schedule selection appointments with clients
- Meet with clients at scheduled appointments and help guide them through the decision-making process according to contract summary items and allowances
- Respond to clients questions/concerns and work to bring resolution in a timely manner
- Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of available items and finishes offered in the Studio
- Prepare selection decision documents along with entering into our management system
- Maintain all selection related notes and files throughout each project
- Ensures all potential change details are recorded and processed through pricing team to be priced for change order approvals
- Assist our project managers, sales team, and other departments as it pertains to any questions about product choices and finishes in a timely manner
- Maintain and organize Studio as required for all client and company meetings
- Greet and assist walk-in's and potential clients with touring of model home as necessary
- Receive, organize, and log office/project deliveres in our management system
- Additional duties as needed (examples, but not limited to: answering phones, filing, field visits, log project updates, vendor pick-ups, etc.)
Skills
- New construction interior design experience or a passion for interior design and working knowledge of current home design trends, products, and finishes
- Ability to communicate features, advantages/benefits associated with various upgrades, material characteristics, design standards and create color / material palettes
- Must have exceptional computer, written and verbal communication abilities
- Must be an outgoing, people and detail oriented, self-motivated individual committed to providing a quality client experience
- Must have the ability to motivate and lead others and provide a positive and productive work environment in a fast-paced workplace
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficient with and the ability to adapt to changes in technology
- Ability to lift 10-15 pounds
- Ability to work with team or independently as needed
